We all know that commercial feeds are still increasing the demands and it takes your capital being exhausted.  We in our farm we introduce to our chicken some organic way of feeding them. Let’s talk about organic way feeding our poultry animals. A benefit of raising your own chickens is having inexpensive organic eggs and meat. The problem is that in many areas it is nearly impossible to get organic chicken feeds and even if you can it is expensive.

Homemade Organic Chicken Feed

Pasture and free range Raised chickens consume a large amount of forage. Chickens will peck at anything, from rodents to bugs to grass to your precious tomatoes. When you add in your table scraps, your chickens are likely eating a well-balanced diet. Because the feed will be a supplement to their diet rather than a fundamental component, you won't have to worry about the right balance of ingredients.

Keep It Fresh

You have complete control over everything that goes into homemade organic chicken feed when you prepare it yourself. It's natural to feel compelled to manufacture large quantities in order to save time. It's not a good idea. Another advantage of homemade feed is that it is usually fresher than commercial feed, keeping more nutrients.

 

 In our way, We introduce to some forages like madre de agua (trichanthera) and azolla. This forages has a huge amount of protein that our chicken breeders needs and easy to plant forages. This forages gives to our chicken a healthy eggs and meats and a well balanced diet. Boost immune system and avoid from any diseases. Organic way of producting the chicken can low cost your capital in commercial feeds and you can use the left capital for expanding your farm. Also organic way of farming gets a high value when it comes to marketing. Organic meat and eggs are more expensive than you feed them the commercial feeds.
